The ambiance and decor was awesome. Everything in the hotel is WWII themed. Even down to the music. The common areas, restaurants and rooms were all so clean and the beds were very comfortable. I ate all three dining options they have here. The food and drinks are incredible at all of them. Rosies on the roof is so cool! The Provisions cafe is like a mini coffee shop with pastries and small eats, all delicious. Café Normandie's breakfast is exceptional. The WWII museum and Higgins hotel together is like a small campus. You are right across the street from the museum, which is a remarkable experience in itself. I will always enjoy the constant state of patriotism I was in between both, highly recommend!

Property was beautiful, clean and new feeling. I loved the hotel bathroom, it was spacious, clean, and modern, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, that was of a good quality. The room had nice views of the city. The interior design was of the WWII era and very well done, it seemed to have a purfume smell in the common areas/lobby which was a pleasant touch. You’re also right on the property of the museum so the area is really nice to walk around.

We ate breakfast one morning and the food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. All of the staff we encountered was very helpful and pleasant. The rooftop bar was a very nice place to look over the city. We had a meal at Kilroy's one evening and again the food was really good. We had the beignets at the rooftop restaurant and they were better than the ones at Cafe Dumond (where we had been encouraged by many people to go).

Richard

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We were able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel manager texted me throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. There are several restaurants and bars inside the hotel and the food and service was great. The location was perfect if you want to avoid the craziness of Bourbon Street.

Lesley

It is located next to WW2 Museum with plenty of good restaurants around the corner. The location worked for me very well as it’s away from the busy main street and yet still close to Canal Street and Riverfront. The room is spacious and comfortable enough for 2 people. They also have a rooftop bar with a great view of the cityscape of NOLA perfect for sunset.
